To Maintain overall health of the student a session on ‘importance of oral hygiene maintenance’ was held at St Aloysius high school on 12.08.2024.
Resource person Dr Amashree A Shetty, chairperson NSPECC and student welfare dean of A. B. Shetty dental sciences was welcomed by Rev. Fr Johnson Pinto S.J, the Headmaster and Mr Lancy Dsouza, the Assistant Headmaster. Resource person spoke on the problems of poor dental cause, reasons for bad breath and foul smelling, Dental crisis effect of tobacco and drug abuse on health. She also spoke on the techniques of teeth brushing and flossing and the importance of it. Assistant headmaster thanked the resource person, Prof Dr. Amashree Shetty. Mrs. Cynthia Dsouza, Associate Educator and special educator, Mrs. Shanthi Dsouza NEPECC Co-ordinator were present for the session.
