St. Aloysius High School, with a history spanning over 140 years, has thrived by adhering to core values that have helped it withstand various challenges. The school is administered by the Society of Jesus, commonly known as the Jesuits, who are renowned for their commitment to holistic education. Jesuit institutions, including St. Aloysius, focus on shaping well-rounded individuals by emphasizing academic excellence, character formation, and cultivating a compassionate heart. As part of this mission, the school encourages co-curricular activities through its various clubs, providing students with opportunities for personal growth beyond academics.
I am fortunate to be supported in this mission by a dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, who embody the Ignatian charism of MAGIS. They understand that their role is not to be a distant authority, but a close guide, walking alongside students on their journey of growth. They strive not only to teach students how to walk, but also where to walk in life. I must also express my deep gratitude to the past Headmasters, Assistant Headmasters, Rectors, Jesuits, Teachers and the PTA, whose contributions have laid a strong foundation to our school.
I express my heartfelt gratitude to the PTA executive committee, all the parents, alumni, well-wishers and various officials for their unwavering support. They have been a pillar of strength for us in both good times and challenging moments. St.Aloysius is regarded as a renowned institution, and that is because of the value they have placed on it. Thank you, and may God bless you all.
