Annual Day Celebration of St. Aloysius High School, Kodialbail, Mangalore
The 144th Annual Day Celebration of St. Aloysius High School, Kodialbail, Mangalore, was held on December 21, 2023. The beautiful evening began with the rendition of songs in different languages by the students. The School Band and the NCC Cadets ushered the dignitaries. The Melody Club led the gathering of parents, guests, and students into prayer. Mr Lancy D’Souza, the Asst. Headmaster, welcomed the gathering.
Mr Mithun M Rai, an Alumnus of the School, and General Secretary KPCC,the Chief Guest, Dr Ajay R KamathAlumnus HOD of Ophthalmology K.M.C, the Guest of Honour, Rev. Fr Melwin Pinto S.J. Rector, St Aloysius Institutions, presided over the function. The dignitaries including Rev. Fr Gerald Furtado S.J., the Headmaster, Mr Lancy D’Souza Assistant Headmaster Mr Santhosh Kumar the Vice President of the school PTA, felicitated the student achievers in academics, co-curricular activities, sports and athletics with certificates and mementos.
The Chief Guest shared his experience in this school. He called upon the students to stay humble, take pride in themselves, be passionate, live and let live, be optimistic, and make a difference in others’ lives. Rector, laid emphasis on the aim of Jesuit education: peace, harmony and critical analysis. School annual report was presented through a video clipping. The entertainment / cultural programme comprising of song, folk dance, drama, thematic dance, fussion dance, and cultural dance was presented by the students in different languages under the guidance of various teachers. The entire programme was compered by students. The programme was co-ordinated by Headmaster and Asst. Headmaster.
