A farewell ceremony was held on July 29, 2024 at St Aloysius High School to Mr. Camil Rebello, who served as a Hindi teacher for long 33 years .
God’s presence was invoked through a prayer song by the school choir. Master Arwin Dsouza of 9th E felicitated Mr. Camil Rebello with a few words followed by honouring with fruits, shawl and garland by Rev. Fr. Johnson Pinto S.J., The Headmaster, Mr. Lancy Dsouza, the Assistant Headmaster and the school pupil leaders. The students wished a very good retiring life through a farewell song.
Addressing the gathering Mr. Camil Rebello shared his thoughts, feelings and experiences serving in this prestigious institution. He expressed his gratitude to everyone and advised the students to work hard to make positive impact on the world and never stop striving for excellence.
Headmaster Rev. Fr. Fr. Johnson Pinto S.J. highlighted some great qualities and achievements of Mr. Camil Sir being the best teacher to inspire the students. And wished him a happy and fulfilling retirement life.
Master Aarol Sequeira welcomed the gathering. Miss Manvitha proposed vote of thanks, Master Adithya and Miss Adsha compered the programme.
