Musical Day – 2023

Musical Day “Symphony” for ‘peace and Harmony’ was commenced in St Aloysius High School on 31st October 2024. God’s blessing was invoked through a prayer song. Through a classical Dance AdhishreeRai of Std 10th D welcomed the gathering. The Occasion was graced with the presence of the Chief Guest Miss Pallavi Prabhu a well-known singer, Rev. Fr Gerald Furtado S.J  The Headmaster, Mr Lancy D’Souza, The Assistant Headmaster, Mrs Renny Vas, the coordinator of the programme.

The programme was inaugurated symbolically by playing violin by Miss Pallavi Prabhu the chief guest. Miss Pallavi Prabhu was introduced by Mr Lancy D’Souza followed by felicitation with fruits, shawl and memento by the dignitaries on the Dias. Addressing the gathering Miss Pallavi Prabhu advised the students if they are passionate about singing practice it by joining the classes. She exhibited her talent by singing songs.  All the students truly impressed with her melodious singing.

Headmaster in his message spoke on the importance of the theme ‘Symphony for peace and harmony’. In the context of war around the globe. A message of peace and harmony can be communicated through music. This is a day for fun relaxation and a day of prayer for peace and harmony, he added. The essence of the theme was given to the students through a wonderful video presentation.

Afternoon program was presided over by Miss Ankita Mascaraenhasa well-known singer. Mrs Sonal introduced Miss Ankita. Headmaster welcomed madam with bouquet of flower and presented a memento as token of love.

The day was filled with lot of fun with music singing and dance. Totally 35 students exhibited their talents in singing with their mind blowing performances. The entire program was hosted by Joshua Pereira, Cimantha Tauro, Ayisha Aflah, Vivaan K Attavar, Naomi Mascarenhas and Shannon Miranda. Vivaan K Attavar, the school president welcomed the gathering. The school vice president Sinchana proposed vote of thanks.  Mrs.Renny Vas the co-ordinated the programme.
