Farewell to Mr Gopalkrishna S (Asst. Headmaster) and Mr Bonaventure Aranha (Supporting Staff)
A farewell Programme was organised for Mr Gopalkrishna S and Mr Bonaventure Aranha on 19th December 2020. The retiring staff where welcomed to the Dias by our dear Rector Rev. Fr. Melwin Pinto S.J. and the Headmaster Rev. Fr Gerald Furtado S.J. along with all other staff members. The programme began with a prayer song lead by Mrs. Linet Mathias and group.
Felicitation speech was given by Mr Francis Mascarenhas to Mr GopalKrishna S and Mrs Ida Furtado to Mr Bonaventure Aranha. They shared their memories and experience with them which created an emotional moment. A beautiful citation was read by Mr Praveen Monteiro and Mrs Felcy Pinto. The retiring staffs were honoured by Rev. Fr Rector and the Headmaster with a shawl, garland, gift and fruits. Mr Gopalkrishna S the maths and science teacher of school and Mr Bonaventure Aranha the office staff shared their reminiscences and experience in school. Farewell song was sung by Mrs. Renny Vas and group.
Rev. Fr Rector and Headmaster delivered an impressive speech about retiring staffs and thanked them for their dedication, hard work, commitment to the students and the school. They thanked to their contribution for the all-round development of the school and wished them all the best on their new journey of life.
The programme was hosted by Mrs Jovita D’Souza, welcome speech was given by Mrs Shalma Saldanha and the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr Sunil Lobo. The backdrop was beautifully done by Mr John Chandran. The entire program was well organised and planned by Mrs Shalma Saldanha the staff coordinator. The program was ended with the lunch.
