Annual Day of St Aloysius High School held on 10th December 2016. The programme began by invoking God’s blessings through a melodies prayer song. The President Rev. Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, Rector, St Aloysius Institution, Chief Guest Mr Vishal Hegde Pro-chancellor of Nitte University, trustee of Nitte Educational Trust, Mr Rithesh Baliga, the PTA Vice President were led to the dais by the Headmaster in-charge Mr Gopalkrishna S., Assistant Headmaster Rev. Fr Xavier Christopher SJ and the School Pupil Leader Master Roopith D’Souza.
Guests were welcomed wholeheartedly by our Assistant Headmaster. All the student who have excelled in various curricular and co-curricular activities and brought laurels to our school were honoured. Master Nishan S. and Gauravdev H.B. were honoured specially for their wonderful achievements in the field of Art.
The Chief Guest gave a thought provoking message to the students “to raise their hands to take care of their parents, spending too much of our time and energy with social media is not good, rather give time to your parents”, he recalled his rich memories in school as an alumnus of our school.
Rector, Rev. Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ appreciated and thanked the school for the great collaborative work, active PTA committee members and dedicated and creative staff. He advised the students to develop ‘character, consciousness and compassion’.
The Annual report of the year was presented. The very colourful, creative programme was put up by the students with the guidance of hardworking teachers through Dances, Drama ‘Nale Banni’, Songs and Christmas Carols.
