The feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated in St. Aloysius high school on 31st July. All the catholic students had mass in the chapel. There was a short cultural programme in the hall. Fr. John Crasta. SJ presented a beautiful power point presentation and a video, depicting the life of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Elton of 9th E Std. gave a short message on the life of this great saint. The winners of the poster competition and the quiz competition, on the life of St. Ignatius of Loyola, were awarded with the prizes and certificates. The headmaster gave his feast day message by saying that all the Jesuit institutions are celebrating this feast. All of us must have JESUIT spirit in us. That was the message that St. Ignatius gave to everyone in his life. On this special occasion some students of our school and teachers visited the orphanage(white doves) and enacted drama and sung some songs and offered some gifts to the residents. Abdul Hadin of 9th Std. compeered the programme. The vice-president, Shane Sequeira proposed vote of thanks.
