On 5th March of 2013, Mr. Sarvajna Achar, Mr. U. Gopala Krishna Bhat, Mr. Rudolph Tauro and Mr. George Lobo, our beloved staff members retired on super annuation. The programme started with the grand entrance of the Guest-of-honor, Headmaster Rev Fr. Edward Rodrigues, Asst. Headmaster Mr. Gopal Krishna S. Asst. Headmaster along with the S.P.L-Jagath T.J, A.S.P.L-Nicky Pinto and Secretary Fuzail M. Dean to the dais. Our school choir invoked God’s blessings with great devotion. Following which, our SPL, Jagath T.J. with his apt Quotes extended a warm welcome to the gathering. The Guests of honor were felicitated with shawl, garlands, fruits and a purse by our Headmaster, School Leaders and the Council Leaders. Words of appreciation in acknowledgement of their dedicated service were spoken by students and the Headmaster.
The Guests of honour shared their sentiments with the gathering, while Mr. Sarvajna Achar expressed his gratitude to his colleagues and to his students for extending full co-operation. Mr. U.G.K. Bhat guided the students on discipline and honesty that must be inculcated by every student. Mr. Tauro with his words of wisdom stressed upon the importance of adopting good values. He also handed over the purse received by him to the Headmaster to help the Kannada medium students. Mr. George Lobo overwhelmed with emotions also thanked the gathering.
Our school choir who felicitated our retiring staff members melodiously sang Acharya Devo Bhava – teachers are equivalent to God. Our Headmaster beautifully expressed about our four dynamic staff members and thanked them profusely for their dedicated and invaluable service.
Finally, Fuzail M. Deen, secretary conveyed words of gratitude by thanking Mr. Francis Mascarenhas, Mrs. Sheryl Prabhu, Ms. Jovita D’Souza, Ms. Wilma Baretto for co-ordinating the programme, Mrs Renny Vas for leading the choir, Headmaster, school leaders and the council leaders for felicitating.
