The feast of St. Aloysius Gonzaga, the patron saint of St. Aloysius institutions was celebrated on 19th June 2024 in the high school hall. Novena Prayers were conducted in the chapel for Catholic students prior to the Feast. After the Eucharistic celebration, all the students gathered in the hall for cultural programme. God’s presence was invoked through a prayer song led by school choir. A very beautiful welcome dance was performed by our students to welcome the gathering.
The Programme was initiated through lighting up the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais, along with S.P.L, assistant S.P.L and Secretary of the school. Rev. Fr. Avinash Dsouza S.J., the Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Gerald Furtado S.J, the Headmaster Mr. Lancy Dsouza the Asst. Headmaster were escorted to the dais by Master Ashith Sudesh SPL, Miss Manvitha Assistant SPL and Master Aarol Sequeira Secretory of the school.
The Headmaster administered the Oath for the newly elected cabinet members and the council members.The winners of the poster competition on the topic ‘St Aloysius Gonzaga’ were rewarded with prizes. Addressing the gathering Chief Guest highlighted thelife of St. Aloysius Gonzaga and advised the students to try to live the life based on the value taught by St. Aloysius Gonzaga and to take him as a model of inspiration. Headmaster in his message advised the student specially the newly elected council members to implement their leadership abilities with a great effort. He wished everyone a happy feast of St Aloysius Gonzaga
A social drama relating to the life of St. Aloysius Gonzaga was enacted by our students. Mrs Chris Evert Dsouza co-ordinated the programme. Master Ashith Sudesh proposed vote of thanks. Entire programme was anchored by our students, Master Joel of 10thE and Ms Rishika of 10thE. Miss Nathasha welcomed the gathering. Programme was winded up with National Anthem.
