At the age of two Naithik participated in the district level swimming competition. He has received nearly 150 medals at zonal, district, state level competiton. He has received 3 gold, one silver, 2 bronze with a individual championship at state level at Mandya in 2019. He received 1 silver n 5 bronze at state level competition held in bangaluru in the year 2020-21. He also received 1 gold 2 silver 1 bronze at state level swimming competition held in Bangaluru in 2021-22
He was awarded with -Dakshina Kannada Jilla Rajasvostava Prashasti , Saurabha Ratna Rajya Prashasti
