A farewell ceremony was held at St Aloysius High School to Mr Francis Mascarenhas and Mrs Sheryl Prabhu, on 31st August 2023. God’s presence was invoked through a prayer song by the school choir. Miss Jyothsna DSouza and Master Sherwin Pinto felicitated the retiring teachers with their few words followed by honouring with fruits, shawl and garland by the dignitaries on the dias. Students wished a very good retiring life through a farewell song.
Addressing the gathering Mr Francis Mascarenhas and Mrs Sheryl Prabhu shared their thoughts, feelings and experiences serving in this prestigious institution they expressed their gratitude to everyone and advised the students to work hard to make positive impact on the world and never stop striving for excellence. Headmaster Rev. Fr Gerald Furtado S.J. highlighted some great qualities and achievements of Mr Francis Mascarenhas and Mrs Sheryl Prabhu of being the best teachers to inspire the students and wished them good and best retiring life.
Miss Anna Liza Dcosta welcomed the gathering. Miss Ayisha Aflah proposed vote of thanks, Master Shannon Miranda and Miss Cimantha Compered the programme.
