The feast of St Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated in St Aloysius High School. Novena prayers were held in the chapel prior to the feast. On 31st of July High School students gathered in the hall for small cultural program. God’s blessings was invoked through a prayer song lead by the school choir under the guidance of Mrs Renny Vas. Chief Guest Mr Francis Mascarenhas, Assistant Headmaster Mr Lancy Dsouza were escorted to the Dias by Master Vivaan K. Attavar SPL, Miss Sinchana Santhosh Kumar Assistant SPL and Master Abel Raunak Tatpati Secretary of the school.
The winners of the Prathiba Kalotsava and the quiz competition on the life of St Ignatius of Loyola and Jesuits were awarded with prizes. It was carried out by Mrs Kris Evert Dsouza and Mrs Linet Mathais. Addressing the gathering chief guest advised the students to inculcate the values of St Ignatius of Loyola and brieflyhighlighted the life of St Ignatius of Loyola.
Assistant headmaster wished all the students a happy feast of St Ignatius of Loyola. He addressed the students to follow the value of Sacrifice, Courage, honest of St Ignatius of Loyola in their lives. The entire programme was anchored by Miss Alfreeda and Master Roy Rego, the Gavel club member under the assistance of Mrs Jovita D’souza, Mrs Renny Vas, Mrs Linet Mathias and Mrs Sunitha Pais Co-ordinated the program. Master Dhruva Shetty welcomed the gathering. Master Vivaan K. Attavar expressed word of Gratitude to everyone who worked for the success of the programme. The Programme ended with National Anthem and distribution of sweets.
