St Aloysius High School Annual Sports Meet 2018-19
The Annual Sports Meet of St. Aloysius High School , Kodialbail was held on 01-12-2018 in the Gonzaga stadium. This meet was given significance by the honorable chief guest Dr Satish Chandra B. K., a well-known Dermatologist, plastic and cosmetics Surgeon of Mangalore and a proud alumni of the Aloysian institutions. He inspired the Aloysians to accept and practice competitive spirit of life.
The Asst. Headmaster, Shri Gopalkrishna S. cordially welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest inaugurated the programme by hoisting the sports flag. The Headmaster Rev. Fr Gerald Furtado S.J. expressed his words of encouragement to all those who gave their constant support towards the success of the programme.
Closing Function
The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of the chief guest Mr Lakshman Kunder , Managing director and Managing editor of V4 channel, Rajyotsava awardee and also an alumni. The chief guest appreciated the school for all the infrastructural facilities and the encouragement given to the students in various fields. The vice-president of the Parents Teachers Association Mr Mahesh R. Nayak was present. Our students presented a systematic mass drill and march-past followed by a wonderful silent drill by NCC troop. The school pupil leader Master Jesseem Siraj delivered vote of thanks. The members of the melody club invoked the blessings of God under the guidance of Mrs Renny Vas. The program was hosted by Mr Lancy DSouza and Mrs Bharathi N.K. The sports day attained great success with the collective efforts of all the teachers specially our PT Teacher Mr. Noel Menezes. After honoring all the Athletes with prizes, the chief guest finally announced the closure of the Annual Sports meet 2018-19 by lowering the sports flag. And finally as the symbol of patriotism the program ended with the National Anthem.
