Passing out Parade of Std. X
Passing out Parade of SSLC students was held on 9th March 2017 in High School at 2.30pm. An inspiring and devotional prayer service was conducted by the teachers along with students under the guidelines of Mr. Santhosh Lobo.
Mr. Francis Mascarenhas welcomed the Guest of honour Rev. Fr. Dionysius Vas SJ, Rector of our Institutions, honourable Chief Guest Mr. Ganesh Rao, Chairman, group of Karavali College Institution, Mangalore, Headmaster, Rev. Fr Edward Rodriuges SJ, PTA Vice President, Mr. Rithesh Baliga, Assistant Headmaster, Gopalkrishna S. and all the gathering.
Ms. Sushmitha of Std. 10th A and Master Wilston of Std. 10th E shared the experiences and memories of the in school life on behalf of all the students.
The Assistant Headmaster Mr. Gopalkrishna S. gave certain Guidelines to the students who are on their onward journey in the quest for knowledge and also to face the SSLC examination.
The students who excelled in curricular and co-curricular activities were honoured with prizes.
Rev. Fr Dionysius Vas SJ, Rector of our institutions, addressed the gathering. He said “10th standard is an important crossroad in the life of students. He said that they have to thank God, school, teachers, friends and parents. He congratulated all the teachers for their selfless service towards the welfare of the students and school.
Mr. Ganesh Rao, advising the students said to prepare well to face SSLC examination without any tension. To make up their mind to be successful.
The Headmaster in his message thanked parents for choosing this school and admitting their children and not to be disappointed if their ward fail in getting the expected percentage. He told the students to carry home, happy and good memories. He wished students best of luck. Then the pledge was administered by the Headmaster followed by students. Class teachers of std. 10th received the mementos from Headmaster and distributed to the students. Mr. Donald Saldanha, anchored the entire programme efficiently. Mrs. Jovita D’Souza proposed vote of thanks. The entire programme was ended with school Anthem followed by National Athem.
