An orientation program was organized for the students of St Aloysius High School on 30th May, 1st June, and 2nd June. The sessions aimed at guiding the students towards making positive choices, managing distractions, and developing leadership qualities. The sessions were conducted by experienced resource persons who enlightened the students on various relevant topics.
Fr. Leston Lobo SJ addressed the students on the topic “Choices and Values in Life.” He emphasized the importance of making the right choices and living by strong values that shape a meaningful life Br. Rudolf Dsouza SJ took a session on “Distractions and Study Methods.” He shared practical tips on overcoming distractions, developing concentration, and adopting effective study techniques to excel academically. Br. Praveen Dsouza SJ delivered an insightful talk on “Media Addiction and Leadership.” He highlighted the ill effects of excessive media usage and motivated students to use technology wisely while nurturing their leadership skills and taking responsibility for themselves and society.
The orientation program was highly interactive and informative, encouraging students to reflect on their habits and decisions, and to grow as responsible individuals. In the closure ceremony, Chinmayi C S of 10D and Shannon Veroy Pinto of 10E2 shared their experience, fun and knowledge they received being the part of orientation. Addressing the gathering, Headmaster thanked the resource persons for their wonderful orientation programme.
Mrs. Bharathi N.K welcomed the gathering Mrs Sonal Lobo compered the programme. The entire programme was coordinated by Headmaster Rev. Fr. Johnson Pinto S.J. and assistant Headmaster Mr. Lancy Dsouza.
