St Aloysius High School Kodialbail Celebrates ‘World Environment day’.
To spread awareness among the students about saving our environment from various types of pollution and to plant more saplings and to protect it, ‘A world environment day’ was celebrated on 13th June 2025. Rev. Fr. Johnson Pinto S J, the Headmaster, Mr Lancy D’ Souza, Assistant Headmaster were present for the celebration.
God’s presence was invoked through a prayer song. To mark the significance of the day a sapling was planted symbolically by the dignitaries on the Dias, followed by distribution of saplings to the students. Addressing the gathering Headmaster said, taking care of environment is the responsibility of all of us. He advised the students reduce the use of plastics and control the environment pollution to protect mother earth.
A wonderful message of protecting our planet earth was conveyed by our students through their dance performance. Miss Vridhi Rao of 10E compered the programme, Miss Sneha of 10A welcomed the gathering. Miss Avni 9D proposed vote of thanks. The entire program was well organised under the guidance of Mrs. Edna Mascarenhas, the teacher in charge of Eco Club of our school. The program ended with National Anthem.
