Diwali celebration in collaboration with PTA members was held on 29thOctober 2024 in high school hall. God’s blessing was invoked through a prayer song. Rev. Fr. Johnson Pinto S.J., the Headmaster, Mr. Lancy Dsouza the Assistant Headmaster, Mr. Cliffered Sequeira the P.T.A Vice-President were escorted to the Dias by Master Ashith Sudesh, SPL of the school. By lightning of the lamp, the dignitaries on the dias symbolically marked the importance of Diwali. Student welcomed the gathering with a wonderful welcome dance.
On this occasion, students presented a beautiful dance and song. PTA members through their melodious singing depicted the significance of the day. Students won in ‘lantern making’ competition and also in various other competitions were rewarded with the prizes.
Headmaster speaking on the significance of Diwali said“ Diwali is the festival of light. He advised the students we are the light. We must disperse darkness from others life by being kind hearted individuals and with love. He also advised them to burn all the dark elements of our lives.
Master Aarol Sequeira of Std. 10th welcomed the gathering. Miss Manvitha K and Miss Ananya of Std. 10th hosted the programme. Maser Ashith Sudesh of Std. 10th thanked all for the success of this programme. The programme was well co-ordinated by Mrs. Bharathi N.K.
