Opening Ceremony
The annual athletic meet of St Aloysius high school was conducted on 19th November 2025. The guests Mr Eshwar P Shetty alumnus Entrepreneur and marketing professional, Headmaster Rev. Fr. Johnson R Pinto S.J., Assistant Headmaster Mr. Lancy D’souza, PTA Vice – President Mrs. Reshma Bhat, were escorted by the school pupil leaders and NCC cadets along with the school band. The sports flag was handed over to the athletes by the chief guest followed by wonderful march-past headed by various house leaders and their members with flags.
The chief Guest inaugurated the meet by hoisting the sports flag. God’s presence was invoked through a prayer song led by school choir. The athletes handed over the sports torch to the chief guest who then handed it back to the athletes followed by the lighting of torch. Student presents the Aerobic Dance Exercise. The chief Guest addressed the gathering by recalling his memories in this prestigious institution. He advised the students success takes time but never give up we are not born with strength, so build it with lot of effort.
The sports meet was declared open by the guest by releasing tricolor balloons in the air. Oath was taken by Miss Diya, the sports secretary of our school on behalf of all the students. Headmaster delivered the welcome address. Master Samhith Raj, the SPL of the school proposed the Vote of thanks.
Closing Ceremony
Ms Nishel Delphina Dsouza a state level sports Medalist was the chief guest of the closing programme which began at 3.00P.M. Students presented a systematic mass drill followed by a wonderful silent drill by NCC cadets. Addressing the gathering the chief guest said playing with confidence, respect, teamwork and joy is very important. Apart from winning participation is more necessary, she added
After honoring all the athletes and prize winners, the chief guest finally announced the closure of the annual sports meet 2025-26 by lowering the sports flag. Mr Lancy D’souza welcomed the gathering. The entire programme was hoasted by Mrs Sonal lobo and Mr. Praveen Monteiro
Miss Chinmayi C S, Assistant SPL delivered Vote of Thanks. Thus, the sports day attained great success with the great effort of our PET teacher Mr. Noel Menezes and Miss Jasmitha
