Organized by the Interact Club in association with the Rotary Club and LTS Club
The Interact Club of St Aloysius High School, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Mangalore Central and the LTS Club, organized an enlightening seminar on Cyber Crime and Anti-Drug Awareness on 26th July 2026. The session commenced with invoking God’s blessings through a melodious prayer song rendered by the school choir. The dignitaries—Mr. Maruti P, Police Sub-Inspector of Mangalore South Police Station; Prof. Dr. Mahabalesh Shetty K, a renowned forensic expert and medicolegal consultant; and Mr Bhaskar Rao Katta, President of Rotary Club of Mangalore Central—were ceremoniously escorted to the dais by Mr. Lancy D’Souza, the Assistant Headmaster.
In his address to the gathering, Mr Lancy D’Souza highlighted the growing need for awareness among students regarding the dangers of cybercrime and substance abuse. He emphasized the importance of educating the younger generation on the responsible use of technology and the consequences of drug misuse.
Mr. Bhaskar Rao, in his message, extended his heartfelt thanks to the Head of the Institution for providing the opportunity to collaborate on such a crucial initiative. He appreciated the school’s commitment towards the holistic development of its students by organizing value-based awareness programs.
The event proved to be highly informative and impactful, leaving students better informed and aware of the challenges in today’s digital and social environment.
