Musical Day “Melody Fiesta” was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at St. Aloysius High School on 8th October 2025. The celebration began by invoking God’s blessings through a graceful prayer dance, setting a melodious tone for the day.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Rev. Dr. Praveen Martis, Principal of St. Aloysius Deemed to be University, Mr. Mime Mohandas, professional singer, Mr. Jackson Noronha, alumnus and professional musician, Rev. Fr. Johnson Pinto S.J., Headmaster, Mr. Lancy Dsouza, Assistant Headmaster, Mrs. Linet Mathais, All Clubs Coordinator, and Bro. Praveen Dsouza, Coordinator of the Melody Club.
The dignitaries were given a floral welcome, and they symbolically declared the Musical Day open. Addressing the gathering, Rev. Dr. Praveen Martis motivated the students to have a strong vision and to actively participate in cultural activities along with academics for their holistic development. Mr. Mime Mohandas encouraged students to identify their innate talents and to nurture them with dedication and hard work. Mr. Jackson Noronha, being an alumnus of the school, fondly reminisced his school days and shared his musical journey. Rev. Fr. Johnson Pinto S.J. appreciated the students for their hard work and encouraged them to strive in their areas of strength to reach greater heights.
The stage programme was compered by Master Prince Alice, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Miss Sherlyn Mascarenhas. The entire event was well coordinated by Bro. Praveen Dsouza, Coordinator of the Melody Club, along with the active support of all club members. The celebration of “Melody Fiesta” truly brought out the musical talents of the students and created a harmonious and vibrant atmosphere in the school.
