Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti Celebration
St Aloysius High School celebrated Gandhi Jayantiand Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti with great reverence and patriotism on 2nd October 2025. The program began by invoking God’s presence through a melodious prayer song presented by the school choir.
The event proceeded with a welcome speech delivered by Umhani, who warmly greeted the gathering and highlighted the significance of the day. A meaningful message on the lives and values of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri was delivered by Mrs. Felcy Pinto, who inspired the students to follow the ideals of truth, simplicity, and service to the Nation.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Initha from Std IX E2, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the program. The entire event was efficiently compered by Oshin Rose Moras, ensuring smooth coordination throughout the celebration. The program concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, filling everyone’s hearts with pride and patriotism.
