Fr Melwin Pinto S.J, &nbsp;Rector, St. Aloysius Institutions, who is presiding over today\u2019s function, Mr Lancy DSouza &#8211; Asst Headmaster, Mrs Reshma Bhat &#8211; Vice President of the PTA, well-wishers of this Institution, PTA Executive Committee, our proud parents, respected members of the teaching and non-teaching fraternity , ladies and gentlemen, media persons and my dear students, it is my proud privilege to present the 145<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp; Annual Report of this historic Educational Institution.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 616 students elected Master Samhith Raj as the SPL, Kum. Chinmayi C.S.&nbsp; as the ASPL and Master Arman Shaik Ummar as the Secretary to the students\u2019council for the year 2025\u20132026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>RESULTS:<\/u><\/strong><strong><u><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our students achieved 96.19% overall results in the April 2025 S.S.L.C. examination.&nbsp; <strong>Mohammed Faheez Sheehan <\/strong>of English Medium&nbsp;topped with 619 marks, 99.04% and Sangamesha&nbsp;of Kannada Medium topped with 576 marks, 92.16%.&nbsp;&nbsp; At the Diocesan Catechism Examination, Master Arol Sequeira excelled in English Medium and in the Value Education Examination Mohammed Faheez Sheeyan topped in English Medium and Shwetha Dariyappa in Kannada Medium. I<sup>st<\/sup> Language English L.B.A.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mrs Felcy Lobo<\/strong>, the collection of Konkani poems \u2018Palva Ponth\u2019 was conferred the Book Award by Karnataka Konkani Sahithya Academy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mr Sunil Rohan Lobo<\/strong> attended Prestigious Prime Minister Rally which was held in the month of January 2025 as a part of Republic Day parade.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mr Praveen D. Monteiro<\/strong> was the Resource person at Ocean Global School Mangalore for the 10<sup>th<\/sup> std second language Kannada teachers from D.K. and Udupi District on 6<sup>th<\/sup> and 7<sup>th<\/sup> November organised by Muslim Educational Institutions Federation (MEIF) Mangalore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>SPORTS &amp; GAMES<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Our students not only excel academically, but also in the field of Sports &amp; Games.&nbsp; We at St Aloysius believe in the all-round development of personality.&nbsp; Along with fitness of the mind, fitness of the body is also given due importance.&nbsp;&nbsp; Mr Noel Menezes and Ms Jashmitha D. Ullal and Hadrian Veigas &nbsp;are the &nbsp;District winners and State Level participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naithik N. and Rebecca Maria DCunha were selected for the National level.&nbsp; They are the special achievers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7. Karate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ananya Prashanth Kumar and &nbsp;Bhavisha are the Taluk level winners and District participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. Athletics:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Under 14 :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ronit Sherwinbagged gold medal in 200mts and 100mts in Taluk Level and bronze in District level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaushal Banjan got bronze medal in 400mts in Cluster level. In State Level \u201cMini Olympics\u201d he bagged silver in 200mts and bronze in 400mts Relay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaushal Banjan and Ronit Sherwin are state level Gold medalist in 4&#215;100 relay held by \u201cKids Athletic Meet\u201d which was held at Bangalore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sanvi V. Taluk level bronze medalist in 100mts. At cluster level she bagged Gold in Long Jump, Silver in 100mts and bronze in Hurdles.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shreya Y.M.&nbsp; Taluk level 200 mts gold and 800 mts bronze and District level participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9. Cricket : &nbsp;<\/strong>In Departmental Cricket tournament &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Under 17:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samhith Raj, Mavel Shawn Pinto, Joswin Santhumayor &#8211; District level winners and divisional level participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Under 14:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sheehan Kotian, Shavin DSouza, Rishon DSa \u2013 District level winners and divisional level participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>CLUBS :<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mrs Linet Mathias is the co-ordinator of all clubs.&nbsp; She is responsible for overseeing all club events, ensuring they run smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>N.C.C. Air Wing<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>63 cadets completed the Annual Training Camp (ATC) at St Joseph\u2019s Engineering College, Vamanjoor.&nbsp; Our school secured Gold medal in contingent drill&nbsp; and&nbsp; Silver Medals in Singing Competition, Cadet Sgt Reyon Pereira got silver medal in the Best Cadet Competition.&nbsp; Cadet Sgt Reyon Pereira and Cadet Sgt Olga Maria Pinto attended the Pre IGC -1 and Pre IGC-2 camp for the Best Cadet Category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yoga day and Independence Day celebrations were organised in association with 6 KAR AIR SQN.&nbsp; We celebrated Air Force Day with Walkathon along with the Senior Division and Senior Wing Cadets.&nbsp; We celebrated 150 years of the of the National song \u2018Vande Mataram\u2019 through a Poster Making Competition and Volleyball Match.&nbsp; March Past and Silent drill were performed during the Sports Day.&nbsp; .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NCC Airwing Troop is guided by Associate NCC Officer Mr Sunil Rohan Lobo and Ms Jashmitha D. R.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>N.C.C. Navy<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the guidance of Caretaker Officer Br Praveen DSouza, 38 cadets successfully attended the Annual Training Camp organised by the 5 KAR Naval Unit, Mangalore at the Scouts and Guides Auditorium, Vamanjoor.&nbsp;&nbsp; World Environment Day, International Yoga Day, Tiranga Yatra and Guest Talk on Health Awareness along with NCC Air Wing was conducted.&nbsp; PO Cadet Ephriam Abhishek and PO Cadet Khushi S. Alape participated in RDC\u2013I Camp at Shivamogga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>\u2018LOYOLA\u2019 Scouts<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The troop is guided by the Scout Master Mr. Praveen Donald Monteiro. The scouts actively took part in March Past for Annual Sports Meet. Master Vivek Renol DSouza successfully completed his Tritiya Sopan Examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>\u2018JESUITS\u2019 Science Academy<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The experiments, discussions, demonstrations using the models are done and quiz is conducted. Science model competition was conducted to the students on account of feast of St Ignatius of Loyola.&nbsp;&nbsp; Sharon Sequeira was selected for the INSPIRE award and received the amount of \u20b910,000 from the Education Department. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shawn Fernandes, Shourya P., Trinay S. Kumar and Gautham M. have won 3<sup>rd<\/sup> prize in the science still model competition organised by Boscoss P.U.College. Shawn Fernandes and Shourya P. bagged 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place in science still model competition organized at \u201cfootprints\u201d. Lenver Saldanha and Cliston Serrao won the first prize in the science working model making competition organised by Shri Bharathi Educational Institution.&nbsp; Shawn Fernandes &nbsp;won the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> &nbsp;prize in the district level Kalashree science model competition and participated in the state level at&nbsp; Bangalore. Cliston Serrao won the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> &nbsp;prize in state level Kalashree science model competition that was organised by Bala Bhavana Society, Bangalore. &nbsp;He is the special achiever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The members are guided by Ms. Nathasha Dsouza and Ms. Ashika<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>&nbsp;\u2018T. P. KAILASAM\u2019 Dramatic Association<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the guidance of Mrs Bharathi N.K., students are encouraged to write and direct plays and skits that could be staged on different occasions.&nbsp; Basavaraj bagged 1<sup>st<\/sup> place in Mimicry at \u2018Sparkle\u2019.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>\u2018SEDIYAPU KRISHNA BHAT\u2019&nbsp; Kannada Sahitya Sangha<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under &nbsp;the guidance of Mrs.&nbsp; Diana&nbsp; Goveas, club conducted various school level competitions like handwriting, extempore and quiz in which students actively participated. The members of the club sang group songs and compered the Kannada Rajyotsava and other school programs. Dhanraj won 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place in Kannada Ashubashana at Taluk level \u201cPrathibha Karanji\u201d and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place at Padua P.U. College.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;\u2018<u>BERCHMANS\u2019 CLC&amp; Altar Boys Club<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The members of the club serve as Altar Boys at the Holy Eucharist celebrations during the weekdays, novena days and the feast days.&nbsp;&nbsp; The Club organised a Group Singing competition on account of the Nativity of Mother Mary, in which students participated enthusiastically.&nbsp; Discussions and Bible Quiz were also conducted.&nbsp; The students are motivated by Mrs Lavina Monteiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>\u2018MID TOWN\u2019 Interact Club<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interact installation ceremony was held in the month of July under the guidance of Rotary Midtown Mangalore. Club members are guided by Mr Praveen Cutinha. &nbsp;The club members visited an orphanage that provides care and support to the children affected by AIDS.&nbsp; During the visit, we celebrated the birthday of Interact Club President Yash Sunil Kumar, conducted short cultural program and donated some essential household items.&nbsp; The Rotary Mid-town members were also present on the occasion.&nbsp; The members also participated in Environment Awareness program <strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong>\u0caa\u0cb0\u0cbf\u0cb8\u0cb0\u0ca6\u0cca\u0c82\u0ca6\u0cbf\u0c97\u0cc6<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>\u0ca8\u0cae\u0ccd\u0cae<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>\u0ca8\u0ca1\u0cc6<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong> &nbsp;which was arranged by Rotary members of Mulki . &nbsp;The club had organised a \u201cCyber Crime\u201d awareness program for all the students. Mr Maruthi P, Police Inspector Mangalore South, conducted this program.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>&nbsp;<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>\u2018NEHRU\u2019 Philatelic Club<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Collage competition was organized exclusively for club members and a drawing competition was conducted for all the students. A visit to the St Aloysius Museum was arranged to observe rare and historical stamps. Students appeared for the \u2018Deen Dayal Sparsh Yojana\u2019 a Philately Scholarship exam and are waiting for their results.&nbsp; Mrs Sonal Lobo promotes and motivates the students about philately knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2018<u>ANTONIO\u2019S\u2019 Art Club<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Art Club members actively participated in Moscheni Art Fest 2025.&nbsp; They exhibited their paintings in Moscheni Art Fest Painting exhibition and won many prizes.&nbsp; Members also Participated in Kudla Kala Parbha -2025, a State Level Art Fest held at Kadri Park. They were also involved in the Painting Exhibition \u2018Varnayana\u2019 D.K. Art Teachers convention held at St Aloysius High school on November 9<sup>th<\/sup> 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Achievements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vikram Shenoy<strong>:<\/strong>&nbsp; Selected for the State Level Drawing Competition organised by Central Power Research Institute, New Delhi.&nbsp; Baged 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place in Dist Level Art Contest in the theme of Environmental Day organised by Vijayavani Newspaper, Consolation Prize in Udayavani Chinnara Banna Drawing competition, 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place in Pencil Sketch at Pre-Unique, 1<sup>st<\/sup> place in drawing competition organised by French Dept. of St Aloysius P.U. College. 1<sup>st<\/sup> place in drawing competition at cluster level \u201cPrathibha Karanji\u201d. Qualified for the State Level Kalashree selection camp organised by Bala Bavana Society, Bangalore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dhrithi T.S. selected for the state level drawing competition organised by central Power Research Institute, New Delhi. &nbsp;Sushmitha bagged 1<sup>st<\/sup> place in Rangoli competition at Prathibha Karanji Taluk level and selected for District level. Sushmitha and Dhrithi T.S. &nbsp;bagged 1<sup>st<\/sup> place in Rangoli competition at \u2018Sparkle\u2019 organized by Padua P.U. College.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pankaj&nbsp; Kumar Chauhan got 1<sup>st<\/sup> place in clay modeling competition organised by Sharadi Pratishtana. Andrea Viola DSouza got 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place in drawing competition organised by St Aloysius P.U. College. Sholin Sequeira and M. S. Shizna got 1<sup>st<\/sup> in flower making competition held at Agnathon. Shizna and&nbsp; Vinoda bagged 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place in flower making competition held at Sharada Mahotsava.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hana Fathima, Jesvita DSozua and Nafeesa Rifa bagged 1<sup>st<\/sup> place in best out of waste at Maps College. Lenora Christle DSouza bagged 1<sup>st<\/sup> place in pot painting competition held at footprints,&nbsp; 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp; place in pencil sketch competition held at Pre-unique.&nbsp; Lenora and&nbsp; Navami bagged 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place in face painting at footprints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hrithwik Naveen bagged 2<sup>nd<\/sup> runner up in drawing competition at Shakthi School.&nbsp; He is the winner of Drawing competition organized by Dakshina Kannada District on account of Constitution Day.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr John I. Chandran trains, guides and motivates young artists, to explore their hidden artistic and creative ability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>\u2018ALOYSIAN\u2019 L.T.S. (Leadership Training Service)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An awareness programme was conducted for the students on Drug Addiction.&nbsp; Forensic&nbsp; Expert Dr Prof. Mahabalesh Shetty shared his experiences and created awareness among the students. LTS members participated in the SAPMUN- 2025, organized by St Aloysius P.U. College. A session on leadership skills was organized in the school for the LTS members to develop their skills.&nbsp; Dr Severine Pinto, Associate Professor, Dept of English- St Aloysius Deemed to be University motivated the students about leadership. Throughout the year Cabinet members take the responsibility to maintain discipline and cleanliness of the school.&nbsp; An outlook on leadership is brought about by Mrs Felcy Lobo and Mrs Sunitha Pais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2018<u>PANDURANGA PAI\u2019 Eco Club<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The club has celebrated \u201cEnvironment Day\u201d in the school. Fruit plants were distributed to students and plantation drive was organised near Milagres Road, where students actively participated in planting saplings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u2018Eco Week\u2019 was celebrated with active participation of the members, fostering environmental awareness and strengthening their bond with nature. During the week, students went on an Eco Exploration visit to Alvana, the \u201cEk Ped Maa Ke Naam\u201d plantation drive.&nbsp; A workshop on Herbarium preparation and synthetic seed, an awareness session on Biodiversity and Water Resource Management, &nbsp;Aquascaping workshop, turning Waste into Wonders competition was successfully conducted. &nbsp;Additionally, a cleanliness drive was carried out in the school campus to promote hygiene and environmental care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Club members are guided by Mrs Edna Mascarenhas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>\u2018IGNATIAN\u2019 Gavel Club<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Club members actively contribute to various events throughout the academic year by hosting the major School programs. An elocution competition and an English handwriting competition were organised for the students. Sherlyn Ann Mascarenhas secured the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place in an elocution competition organised by Sri Bharati College, 1<sup>st<\/sup> &nbsp;place in essay writing held at Pilikula as part of \u2018the International tiger\u2019s day\u2019 celebration. The club is guided by Mrs Jovita Dsouza<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>&nbsp;\u2018GONZAGA\u2019 Consumer Club<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Collage competition &#8220;Jago grahak Jago&#8221;&nbsp; was conducted and an awareness programme related to food adulteration and consumer rights was conducted by Mrs Srividya B. Asst. Professor Besant Evening College. Moras, provides expert musical direction, and the band is coordinated by Mr. Praveen D. They honoured and thanked the Teachers\u2019 for their contributions and selfless service to the school.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our school organized Departmental District level Basketball tournament.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On account of Deepavali festival, Gududeepa Competition and cultural programme was held in collaboration with PTA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the occasion of children\u2019s day the staff decided to enthrall the children with a stage programme. Apart from dance, song and music, a cricket match was organized for students and staff members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mr Eshwar P. Shetty, Alumnus, Entrepreneur and Marketing Professional, was the Chief Guest on the Sports Day for the inaugural ceremony and Ms Nishel Delphina DSouza, State Level Sports Medalist was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony. Under the leadership of <strong>Mrs Reshma Bhat<\/strong>, the Vice president and the executive members, Teacher\u2019s Day was celebrated with games, entertainment and a sumptuous dinner.
